History:

Interflux Electronics NV was established in Belgium 1985 to specialize in the manufacture of soldering fluxes for electronic assembly & pcb manufacture Charged with developing a no residue no clean flux for a major telephone manufacturer, Daniel Werkhoven formulated IF2005. Another major contribution came in the form of colophony free flux cored solder wire IF14 , a significant health benefit to workers in mainland Europe ahead of its introduction in the UK.
A move to dedicated production facilitys in Gent saw the company move to significant new markets & now has strategic manufacturing sites in Gent Belgium , China & USA together with support offices in 15 countries

INTERFLUX Bartec Electronics Ltd was registered as an independent company in 2003 & promotes the technical support philosophy & product excellence inherent in all INTERFLUX companies around the world.
Previous to 1998 Interflux was represented in the UK by Castrol & after successfully marketing the world beating IF2005M liquid no residue flux & the first colophony free cored solder wire ,IF14,returned to its core business of industrial lubricants. Castrol continues to work closely with INTERFLUX in southern & eastern European countries Late in October 1998 Interflux Electronics UK Ltd was formed & based in Reading Berks in a single office using a number of dispersed distribution & storage companies. Paul Barton Joined INTERFLUX in 2000 & restructured the company operation into a single unit in a move to Kent in the South East of England.
The enormous importance of the advance INTERFLUX made in its contribution to clean electronics in 1985 is born out in that the first No clean flux 2005 & colophony free wire IF14 are at the forefront of the new lead free range of products from INTERFLUX together with Pacific VOC free fluxes & Delphine 5503 solder paste.
INTERFLUX Bartec Electronics Ltd operates under written agreement from INTERFLUX Electronics/Solder NV, in the United Kingdom to promote & use the registered INTERFLUX logo & branded products.
